I like this section from Wikipedia:
A mild form of the disorder is not uncommon in pregnancy. In these circumstances it is thought to be caused by the upward pressure of the abdominal organs and the growing uterus as well as the tendency of the pregnant woman's breathing to involve more use of the chest muscles since the diaphragm's movement is more limited.
Costochondritis (with unknown cause) is a common cause of chest pain in children and adolescents. It accounts for 10% to 30% of all chest pain in children. Annually, doctors evaluate about 650,000 cases of chest pain in young people 10-21 years of age. The peak age for the condition is 12-14 years

Hey Pete, I've been reading about various shenanigans at Birmingham Prison. Hope all's well with you.

Thanks mate. Luckily, I'm off this week, after just finishing a set of nights. To be honest, it's pretty horendous there at the moment. I was first on scene after the healthcare incident, where it was really nasty, with blood absolutely everywhere. My own wing almost went up a few weeks ago as well. The con's know that g4s are pussies, however, they do forget that we, the former HM Prison Service staff, are not!

Dog Company are having a group flounce over on Gunman:

Have decided, as WW2 Airsoft has become less fun and too serious with kit restrictions and new rules at every game I can get too, I'm not enjoying it like I should, so will keep to ww2 vehicle events and stop playing Airsoft, I have all my yank kit and have been selling all my other kit even my BAR. It's been on my mind for over a year to stop playing and concentrate on vehicle based events, as I miss a lot of games due to working away.
Cheers everyone! See you around
Doug

I too will be hanging up my garand and quitting WW2 airsoft. With no US games on the horizon for 2013 and the noticeable shift to more a serious gaming experience. I've found I've not enjoyed the games as much as i did back in the days or Carentan or Road to Caen.

I'm not prepared to pay the latter end of £100 + travel expenses to play a supporting roll in mostly Brit based weekends.

Whilst i will continue to be an active Dog Company member, and support them at other events. My time as a WW2 airsoft for 2013 atleast has ended.

As with Doug its not been a quick decision or solely based on any one thing, but a number of factors over 12 months thats led me to this conclusion.

That second one is from BigUK. Basically, they're saying they're unprepared to actually up their game and play in the same way others want the game to go, so they're off.

Can't say I'll miss 'em.

Aye, I removed Doug's account on this forum last week at his request.

Josh has dropped a bollock there - they last year complained there were no games for the US in 2013 at were told to wait and see. Then Josh announces his next game - with no US. That and his progressive tightening of the rules also added to the alienation. And Doug is quite right - Josh isn't providing the games 'his' customers want. Dressy up blats, a bit of fun and a piss up over the weekend. Instead he is trying to do everythign and cater for everyone. Silly. And confusing. Operations Weekends? Filmsim Ltd? Real steal (sic)?

Hi guys, due to me capping the game I cant realy do Sat only as a special rate (im getting some fun toys for this and need the budget) but if you can only do the 1 day, I can write you into the scenario.

When you dont have a cap, like the usual battles, having 20 guys for sat only isnt a problem as you still have 80 in the field, but the Sunday isnt an after thought, me and Lardy tried out a cool way of approaching the sunday with a different scenario

Is Lardy organising with Josh now??

:?

Meh. Managed to get a dig in by buying it within a post describing his organised game as 'light'. :giggle:

By the way, he has leapt to the assumption that we are doing text book 'tactics' rather than stuff that is appropriate to and works in WW2 airsoft. Could others have had the same impression? Does this game info need clarification or expansion?

He's getting on my tits. I'm definitely going to "blue on blue" him at the Crete game.

I've posted something on the Grafton thread. If he butts in, I will delete his comments.

Interesting that on Josh's March game there isn't a single German who I could put a face to.

I only know about 5 of the Allies too.

I know a few on each side but it isn't very well booked. Weirdly, he hasn't even put it up on his own forum!

I know he has had immense personal problems this past year but he is trying to do too much (even looking for new sites) and isn't paying much attention to detail - next to no input 'selling' his games. All his specialist games are poorly booked. Meh.

Mind, I'm beginning to think I was stupid suggesting we should start up organising games again. If anyone suggests knocking it on the head after Hut 9 I won't object too strongly!

I've already decided that if Hut 9 doesn't get enough players, I'm going to pack the whole WW2 thing in and just move over to Tier 1 Milsim and Flying Lead, as WW2 games just won't offer me what I want if CiA ends for good. I hope that we DO get enough for Hut 9 but, given the crop of players currently available, we won't be fighting off a queue! No posts on the Hut 9 section from the "Brit" crowd or those who are in first with enthusiasm/anoraksia. It's 3 months away yet though, so no need to panic just yet.

Hardly a day goes by where I don't see that prick dadio posting some bollocks, seeking acceptance from the established forum members. I have sold my place at the Crete game because both he and that other knobhead, hanschen klein are going. I have always said that it's the people that have made WW2 airsoft for me, not the kit, the sites and, to a lesser degree, the games themselves. People like them are enough to ensure that I don't go to a game that they're at.

Heh. It's February. Everyone's on a downer.

Let's just take it one event at a time. No need to commit to anything beyond Hut 9!
